On Sunday February 26th  at Jennings GP Ed Bargy will kick off a new program for the trackday riders.  This will be on a standard Jennings GP hosted trackday.  Riders who have signed up for a the trackday, will have the option, for a small fee, to attend a formal high performance riding seminar on Sunday.

Specifics

The trackday will maintain the three group format.

The seminars will not require any separate track session.

The seminars will be available to riders signed up for the Jennings GP "Intermediate" trackday group.  The seminar will be split into three (3) or four (4) twenty (20) minute lecture sessions in the classroom.  The lectures will be scheduled during the "Novice & Advanced" track sessions.  The attendees will then ride in their regular "Intermediate" track session.

Over the trackday season there will be a series of three (3) or four (4) individual seminars offered. Each of the individual seminars will cover one or two of several different topics. On each successive trackday a different individual seminar will be offered.  Riders can pick and choose which topic they need to get pointers from the most experianced professional instructor in the sport.

Individual seminars are;

  1. Basic aggressive braking  & trail braking  techniques (Sunday Feb. 26th JGP)
  2. Basic & alternative racelines (Tentative...SundayApril 15th JGP)
  3. Optimal overall gearing & gear selection for each turn
  4. Proper throttle control & effective body position (why, when & how)

All this for a low introductory price of $75.00 for each individual seminar.  Trackday registration entry fees not included.

Attention Local Trackday Club Promotors

This seminar series is being offered to local trackday clubs.  With this feature, as a local trackday promotor you can offer to your riders a professional series of informational lectures.  You would not have to reinvent the wheel by setting up your own lectures.  With the Ed Bargy Seminar Series (EBSS) you will have an established and proven curriculum of study conducted by the most respected and experianced instructor in the country.  The beauty of these seminares is that it will not interfer with your normal trackday track time schedule.  No additional groups need to be added, all riders will still get the same amount of time on track as you supply now.

These seminars will not add one penny to your cost of hosting a trackday but you will receive a little extra cash from "EBSS" at the end of the weekend.

Call 770 345 6474 for further details.

If your favorite local club doesn't offer this option,  let them know you would like to them include the Ed Bargy Seminar Series with their trackday.
